A Guy Called Gerald celebrates 30 Years of Independence

with a 5 hour live set at Southbank Warehouse

RiteTrax & All Is Rhythm present 30 Years of Independence

It’s been a big year for those with a keen interest with dance music heritage, as 2018 marks 30 years since 1988 – the second summer of love, the year that changed UK club culture forever.  For A Guy Called Gerald, often cited as an anthology of electronic music, it marks 30 years of independence as an artist and cultural icon.  From producing seminal tracks like ‘Pacific State’ with 808 State to releasing the first full-length jungle & drum and bass album, Gerald’s contribution to the culture is extensive.  Gerald continues to experiment with the format of the music, with the dance element firmly at the forefront.  We’ve teamed up with All Is Rhythm to host the Sheffield leg of Gerald’s ’30 Years of Independence’ tour to bring you a very special live show featuring Gerald performing over 5 hours of original material, from the centre of the dance-floor, through a top quality Void Acoustics sound system, in our new favourite underground industrial event space, Southbank Warehouse.  This is going to be special!  Tickets are available from £10 at bit.ly/RTAGCG30.
