Music Provision for Vulnerable Adults
From October 2020 to March 2021 we are running a National Lottery-funded project aimed at providing music provision to vulnerable adults, specifically those in recovery from drug/alcohol addiction, as well as ex-offenders, ex-prisoners and people at risk of offending.
We’re currently delivering a range of activities to learners on a 1-on-1 basis, adapting to the covid guidelines to maintain the necessary levels of provision for people who have been without meaningful support from services for over 6 months. Activities currently include DJing, music production, music making, lyric-writing, personal training and painting.
If you’d like to register your interest in the project then you can do so here.
Coming in 2021: Sound Therapy
With support from the National Lottery, we’ve purchased a purpose-built sound healing instrument through Augustara called the Pyradym.
